We are a week into our trip, but here is our schedule of events. We have been pretty busy so far. We seem to be pretty much drained of all our energy before supper each night, so we have been going to sleep early each night.
Please continue to pray for safety for us and the rest of our group as we travel and finish up our paperwork and appointments.
Aug. 18- Arrive in Guangzhou and check into the Garden Hotel
Aug. 19- sightseeing around Guangzhou
Aug. 20- meeting to gather all paperwork, 2:00pm meet to travel to Civil Affairs Office- Gotcha Day!
Aug. 21- Cival Affairs Office to finish up paperwork
Aug. 22- Police Station to apply for child's Chinese passport
Aug. 23- sightseeing at Chen Clan Academy
Aug. 24- Visit to orphanage and abandonment location
Aug. 25- take visa photo, medical exam and TB test
Aug. 26- LIWAN Plaza for shopping
Aug. 27- Guangzhou Zoo and Chinese restruaunt for Chinese Dumplings
Aug. 28- Boat cruise
Aug. 29- Consulate Appointment, Shamian Island to do some shopping
Aug. 30- Get visas that afternoon, take van to Hong Kong
Aug. 31- Flight home at 12:45am with 5 hour lay over in Seoul, South Korea, then onto the United States!!!!!!!!!!
